You can make as many calls that you can in 2 minutes.
Tonight is the centipede protocol. Each station will call a station that hasn't had a turn yet. Net control will check-off each station with an “X” in the Remarks column. Whoever you call, will have their turn next. So listen up! Your turn could come at any moment!
NOTE: Do not go around twice. Do it once then go to last calls.
I have had the opportunity to serve as a net control station for several groups, and sometimes I like to shake things up with fun and unique net formats.
Lightning round: Net control will call each station one time - only once. When you are called for your turn, immediately start making a call. You get one try to call one station; if they don`t reply.. sorry. Going up for grabs is allowed!
Bonus or 1-and-1: In basketball, when a team gets fouled seven times, they are in “Bonus” and they get to shoot 1-and-1 for each foul. This means if they make the first free-throw they get a second shot. Tonight's protocol will work the same way: If your FIRST contact is a good one, you get a second call! (Hint: One way to guarantee the first one is to go up for grabs on the first call.) REMEMBER: If the first station you call doesn't result in a good call, you don't get a second call. That's part of the game.
Centipede: Each station will call a station that hasn't had a turn yet. Net control will check-off each station with an “X” in the Remarks column. Whoever you call, will have their turn next. So listen up! Your turn could come at any moment!
Farmers net: Everyone gets ONE (1) CALL. If you make a barnyard animal sound, then you GET A SECOND CALL!!
AT&T Net: “Reach out and touch someone”… one call, then go up for grabs!
