Welcome to the OM International Sideband Society net. This is <callsign>, my name is <your name> and my OMISS number is <OMISS #>. I will be acting as Net Control for this session.
The objectives of this net are to work for OMISS awards, pass traffic and promote goodwill among amateur operators. The net is run by the Net Control Station and all calls must go through Net Control or a designated relay.
The designated relays for this evening are <insert callsigns of the relays>. If another station hears something net control or the designated relays do not hear please say “Relay” on the air and identify with your callsign, then wait for Net Control or a designated relay to acknowledge you. Please do not jump in without being recognized.
At this time, we will break the net for emergency or priority traffic. Is there any emergency or priority Traffic
Is there any traffic, general announcements or net business of general interest to be announced?
During the net the minimum acceptable signal report is a 21 and the maximum is a 59. Net control or a relay must hear both stations acknowledge the correct signal report for the contact to be official.
All stations must identify with their full callsign when making or receiving a call.
All net times are in Zulu and the current time is <insert time from netlogger> Zulu.
We have <insert number> operators listed as newcomers on the list. They are <insert callsigns /optional>. On behalf of the members present, we would like to welcome them to the net, and we look forward to each of them pursuing membership in OMISS. For more information go to our website www.omiss.net. We use a program called Netlogger. Please see our website, lower left-hand side, for more information.
As a reminder to all stations, you can receive a call at any time, but you must wait your turn to make a call.

Closing
While closing this session of the OM International Sideband Society Net, I would like to thank everyone who checked in to the net and those who assisted Net Control as relays. Many thanks go out to <list relays by call sign> and everyone else who assisted Net Control, because, without their kind assistance, the net would not be possible.
We meet here, on the frequency of <insert center frequency of band for net> (+ or -), depending on conditions, every <insert day net is held>. Net Control would like to invite all stations to participate in the net again on <insert next net day/time>.
You can visit our website at www.omiss.net for more information about this net. The net is officially closed at <insert current time> UTC, and the frequency is clear and available for normal and customary amateur use. 73 everyone from WX0MIK.
New comer script
You have checked into the OMISS <insert band> net. The Net Control Station goes through a list and you are number <insert number>. Once it is your turn you will be given an opportunity to either call a station you heard check into the net or go “up for grabs” by saying your callsign and stating “up for grabs” then answering the loudest station you hear.
The minimum signal report is a 21 and the maximum is 59. During this exchange, the member station will provide you their OMISS number. Two of these numbers and $10 will get you membership to OMISS should you choose to apply.
If you have a computer available, you can read about OMISS at www.omiss.net. There you will find information about our society, how to apply, and how to download Netlogger. Netlogger is the software we use to run the worklist.
